Lake Placid, NY. John Ehntholt, 41 of Glens Falls NY, won the 2008 Lake Placid Marathon when he crossed the finish line in 2:53:35. Leah Pranis, 28 of Hoboken NJ, was the first female finisher with a time of 3:19:30.
